Mike, your videos are done very well - informative and entertaining thanks for showing it. :hatsoff:

Mike, you're aces! Now you can see why it's was called "Colonel LeMat's Grapeshot Revolver" back in the day!

Your videos have helped me avoid neat looking but problematic revolvers like the Starr. I think the LaMat is neat too but after your video I don't think its worth the large price tag. I know they are novelties but if I'm going to drop that much cash on a revolver I expect it to be flawless.

If you want to shoot a round ball in the cannon barrel use a .625 and a ticking patch. The big round ball will shoot low the nine 44 balls will shoot low. I shot one at a SASS match many years ago. Shooting at the standard big SASS cowboy target I aimed at the top of the head with the big ball and low with the nine other shots. I was able to shoot all ten pistol shots with one pistol. I did not tell the other cowboys about the Lemat. When I started shooting the second target without drawing a second pistol this confused some of the cowboys.

Yep! Once past six shots, they think you're a B-western from the old days! When old .62 "sparky" goes off...they think you've had a major malfunction! YEE-HAH!! :haha:
