Rick,
Nothing to be humble about there! both items are nice. I for one, would be proud to carry either or both!. Bottom line is You made it, You like, nobody's opinion really matters sinceeveryone has one(opinion).
You did a fine job :hatsoff:

Sure looks like a nice rig there. I like that knife, is it made from a railroad spike? I sure hope you got some way of fastening it in that sheath so it dont fall out while yer huntin. If I lost a knife like that, I'd set down and bawl...

yes, the bag looks very good and the knive is great nothing like a good forged blade great job.

I was about to ask if you have problems using the knife in cold weather, being Iron and all but now I see your form Gainesville Georgia so most likely you don't see much in the way of temperatures below freezing. Nice work though,
Jeff

Rick,
Good lookin pouch. I've got some fixins and am going to try my hand at putting one together, I only hope it comes out looking as good as yours.
I'm on the South side of Atlanta. Keep posting.

Quick question...has anyone tried a waxed tanned leather for a pouch???

Pitchy,
My wife got the knife for me at a local gun show..I really dont know much about it except its forged from iron of some sort and seems to hold a good edge..It was made in 97 and no rust yet

It`s real nice, thanks Rick. :)
I got get that forge fired up and try and make one, i`ve been saying that for a while need someone to give me a little prod in the well you know. :rotf:

Pitchy,
I`ll try to help give you a push..I wouldnt mind another knife like that one and I`d pay a feller to make it for me..Might even send him this one as a pattern..

No Sir I dont shoot at NGT but would if I knew where it was..I Spend most of my time at Wilson Shoals dodging bullets..They need a range officer really bad

Rick,

NGT is a trad. archery club that has shoots the first Sund. of each month. I will be missing next weeks as there is the Freeze Your Arse Off Rondy down below Atl.

email me at [email protected] and I will get you some info. Great bunch of gents and many of them are muzzle loading guru's. We build bows, guns, throw knives and hawks and there is always good meat to be eaten.

Once a year they always have an Old Farts shoots. You have to be sponsored by an old fart which is no problem. Problem is trying to outshoot the old coots, you would think their eyes would be bad or something but they just whoop us younger guys. This year, I'm going to show them.LOL.

I like the pouch and the sheath. Very nice craftmanship. I specially like the deer horn buttons. Nice work.
