First attempt of building a Flint from Scratch. My version of a southern Mountain rifle Poboy. I carved the stock from a plank of walnut I made my trigger my rear sight, and my under iugs.its is a rice round bottom 32 caliber 42 inches long. Length of pull 15 inches total length 58 inches.i did all the inletting my self on my mill.

How did it go from caplock to flint?

I have both locks from same manufacture, so it just depends how I feel. I do like flints best
