first deer hunting day

well, went deer hunting this morning. didn't see any deer, but flushed a pheasant and saw one feeding in the middle of a cornfield. when I went hunting in oct. for pheasant, didn't see any, but spooked a deer. I think I need to reverse my tactics. (or take out the doe costume)
