First Horn and Bag

Here is a horn and bag ive been working on. Almost finished. Need the perfect strap. Horn is all hand work, File and knife. Lots of scraping. Plug waxed for weather proofing and pinned with bamboo spikes under the rawhide. Bag 7X9 and is all hand sewn with waxed linen and sinew. Copper button and trade cloth. I think they are turning out well. Should work great for the new Tennessee style .40 im having built. Still have to edge the flap, maybe a scalloped black edge. Anyway here are some pics. Sean

looks great. wish my first ones turned out that good. how many pockets are in the bag. Keep up the great work. they should give you many years of use.
 
You are doing a great job. I wish that my first horn had turned out that well. Keep us posted on your progress.

Good looking work Sean. Gotta watch that horn work , it becomes very addicting :thumbsup:
