How'd i do so far? I found some old circular saw blades and drew out a shape and started with a hand grider and then started with my bench grinder. I still have a lot of shaping to do but its a start. This is a lot of fun!

Ah the good old stock removal technique, yes it is how I got started and well hats how I am still doing it. Keep it up brother its looking good.

I started out the same way also and I am still doing it that way, Keep up the good work

going to make the finger guard tomorrow and then epoxy the blade into the deer antler. Its a mule deer by the way.
Also have to taper the front of the antler and then put an edge to the blade.

i was actually thinking about cutting them off to leave a nice stubby handle on it but i am not sure yet. I'll give a few days before deciding.
