First Possibles Bag

Just finished my first bag and measures. Got the leather and sinew at Cooperstown Trading Post. He has a nice shop that carries about everything I need. Time to get busy on a horn and patch knife. Got my materials lined up, but not sure what I want the
horn to look like. Anybody know of a decent available patch knife blade that looks like an old one without costing a fortune?

Nice looking bag and goodies. Russell/Green River used to sell a nice patch knife. You may be able to find one on one of the auction sites....

Suzkat, its great to see a new guy get started with his first project. You did a nice job.
I've been doing this for thirty years and I still get a kick out of each new project.

Thanks Cascade. My green river camp blade arrived today. Can't wait to get to work on it.
Going with a tiger maple handle with aqua fortis finish. I would rather have done antler handle, but not sure how to saw that antler flat and smooth to fit to the knife.
