I made my first horn scrimshaw. Just figgerd I would give it a try, I realy can draw anything so I just doddled on it to see what I could do.
I made a ball board for all my loaders. I added a leather cover so I would'nt get anymore lub on my shirt. Made with rosswood.

that horn haint for gun powder !!!thats for powder to dust up his bum !!!!!! :rotf: nice work bro .if ya'll dont know ol bogg sells some very ,very sweet leather goods including some outstanding traditional bow quivers. even though hes still a dang ol pilgrim :blah:
 
Very nice work. I like the leather idea on the ball wood block. Nice knife also. :thumbsup:

It works out great, all the grit,leather dust,ect. from the bottom of your possible bag don't get into your lub. Keeps it clean.
 
Looks great! What kind of wood did you make your ballboard from? Iam working on a horn right now and thinking about doing some Shrimshaw on it. Can't make up my mind though cause I ain't no artist, but yours looks really good. :thumbsup:
