did this to day the blade is a 6"tramontina butcher blade no stain just raw linseed and raw olive oil came out quit good pic are crap don't no whats going on with the camera

cool knife, I like the handle! :thumbsup: Looks like maybe your trying to get too close. I take a "normal distance" shot- about 4-5 feet for a horn, then enlarge it on paintshop, crop it, then resize 800 x whatever to fit on the forum. Wurks fer me! :thumbsup:
 
Like Stumblin'Wolf says...maybe too close or taking the picture too fast before the auto focus sets up? I also back off a few feet and them use the zoom on the camera, adjust distance from there to get the correct framing.
 
the camera was on macro but someone had switched the auto focus of heres some better pics.
