I'm making the first leather bag in 20 years or more. I made my grandson a canvas bag last year that he is decorating in a eastern woodland style.

The bag I'm making is D shaped with a pocket on the front with a beaver tail flap. Both pockets and the flap are trimmed in buckskin. I picked up a couple of yards of strap in Mackanic in August that I will use. I'm torn between backing with the bag material, or the buckskin. Both will look good and the strap will be trimmed in the other leather.

My camera died so no pictures a present time. When my oldest daughter remembers hers I'll be able to add them. I KNOW HOW TO DO IT, BUT NOT WITH WAY TO GO WITH IT. Thanks for listening to my rambling. Just bhad to vent.
