alright i've decided to get my first smoothbore.
looking at the jim chambers mark silver kit or possibly the jackie brown carolina - think i want the 20ga 62cal version. i'll be hunting deer turkey and duck. any thoughts should i move up to a 16 gauge. is the additional cost of the jim chamber kit worth the money. any thoughts would be helpful thanks

I have both the guns you mentioned, I would say the difference in cost is well worth the extra $ the Chambers quality is unequaled and the PC factor is very high as well, the .62 should handle whatever your needs may be.

Go with the Chambers kit only if you want an earlier, authentic gun with correct dimensions and top quality components.
There is no comparison.

I have a 20 that I hunt rabbits, turkey and squirrels with. I really wish I'd bought a 16 or even a 12.
