Hey guys
Does anyone have this problem?????????????
I have a ardesa trapper .50. When ever i go shooting the first two shots are always seriously underpowerd (at 20m the ball will hit the ground and bounce to the target). After the first two shot she shoots like a demon on a warpath. All i can think of is that the fowlings in the barrel after the first two shots helps to build up a decent preasure. Any idea why? Thanks for any response.....

I agree with LEJ. Swab that barrel out before you load! I do every time, rather it be pistols or longguns, followed by snapping three caps before loading. Imagine that happening when trying to drop that big buck (don't ask).

dylan,
Might I ask what type of powder are you using? I have had similar results when using Goex Clear Shot. Other than that I would think you are having to burn oil out of the barrel as well as getting the barrel fouled. Are your PRB's loading with proper resistance when the barrel is clean?
