Is this invite only? We went to a shoot right outside Ionia a few years back , but I don't think this is the same one,Hotter than Hades that weekend..Mark

No, it is not invite only, but primitive dress is required. If you are going to camp, primitive camp is required. It is a lot of fun.

I'll try to make it down for at least Saturday afternoon as I won't be able to pull the whole weekend. I'm very happy that I will finally have a chance to make it instead of having a wedding to attend like the last couple of years.

spudnut,
everybody is welcome but it's like No Deer said primitive dress is required for those camping. we do make some exceptions for greenhorns getting started. check out the website for more info. if ya have any questions give me a ring.

Hey Pieman no problem with the primitives,Been doing this nearly 20 years.Sounds like a good time I'mm gonna see if my mates are up to it(still rib me for the Ionia rendevous...Don't get me wrong it was a great shoot but HOT HOT HOT that weekend)Gonna try to make it...Mark

hey spudnut, we do have a great swimming hole here so even if it gets too hot you can always go take a dip. pass along the invite to anyone else you know who might want to come camp.

just wanted to post a reminder that the rondy is coming up fast. anyone wanting a fun laid back primitive camp with no generators and tin teepees come on down for the weekend. hope to see some new faces and lots of the old crowd. pieman

Just me, the old lady and the dogs. And not even real sure about the dogs. Shadow's getting real old now and can't hear any more. It'll depend on how hot it's going to get.

Can't Go. Had a doctors (cardiologist) appointment today and she advised against it considering the way things were in Jan. She said I could go to day shoots or stay in a motel, but advises against the stress of setting and tearing down a camp. She said if my recovery goes the way it has been that I will be fine to camp next season. Wish I could be there.

Take Care and Enjoy,

Rick

sorry that you couldn't make it dawg. you missed some shining times for sure. we had 43 camps this year. keep us on the calender for next year. hope to see ya again.
