just a heads up, but 209 primers are hard to find after the election once again. May want to reconsider, unless you have a stash on hand.

The Thompson Center rifles the 209 kit is designed for are in-line rifles.

This forum is a Traditional Muzzleloading forum that limits the guns we talk about to the style that were made before the end of the Civil War. Discussing in-line guns is against the forum rules.

Over the years, there have been adapters made to allow using #209 primers on traditional style cap lock guns. These are usually difficult to use because of the problem of getting the fired cap out of them. Also, the shooter has to take them half way apart to install the cap and then reassemble them before firing the gun.
All in all, they have not been popular with most traditional shooters.

There is probably a lot of information about these Flamethrower 209 kits on our sister forum, "Modern Muzzleloaders". They are mainly set up for discussing the modern in-like style guns. Here's a link to their site

I think this is what he's looking for.

Wait, is he talking about an inline.

Never mind.

What are you wanting to convert? I’ve never found it necessary to use anything more than a # 10 or 11 cap. Some hammers also won’t fit/strike over a 209 primer either it it is offset by the slightest bit.
I didn't realize that this forum was only for hammer style guns. I have an older inline that I bought for my daughter, it's a TC Thunderhawk. #10 caps constantly fall off.
