The horned toad says we should go to Mexico.
Just finished this one up. It's a flat horn for you hunters out there. Great day horn it measures only 10" X 3 1/4" , 1 1/4" thick. I checked it and it can hold just over 2300 grains of 3f. At 80 grains a shot this can go all day. Small game hunters at 20-40 grains will go for weeks. Nice flat shape it stays out of the way till you need it. Inlayed with a black horn disk, then inlayed with a white horn disk, completed with a crescent moon. Hardwood spout plug, twisted staple and antiqued finial on a curly maple top complete this great little horn.
This horn has the powder chamber separated from the top by a hidden maple insert, epoxied to keep the powder air tight. Give the upper base plug a turn to reveal that it's upper chamber holds round ball for you. I was able to fit 20 .490 balls into it. but if you shoot small caliber this can dispense a lot more of those.
Powder and ball not included. $100 plus $8 shipping USA. PayPal preferred for faster shipping.

Looks nice but, what keeps the lid from just twistin’ on around?

The split ring finial is on a threaded stud. Coarse threads into the inside maple with the hole for roundball. Machine threads through the top piece of maple for the finial. Friction keeps it tight.
Also, if it ever moved when you were not looking, the dispenser hole is on the up side of the carry so the balls wont spill out. :thumb:

Okay, thanks. To show you how functional my brain is today, l plumb missed the ball storage part. My foggy mind thought that was where ya fill it.
