Have always wanted a flat one, finally got a little time and made one, finished it today, made it especially to go with little 6 lb. .50 cal. smoothie.
 
very nice, as soon as I finish the horns im working on now I plan on making a flat horn for myself

Where did I get moved and why? the forum I posted on specifically said-Powder horns.

:bow: Man, I like that look. I have a flat horn that I got last year at Martin's Station and was wondering what to do to it. I now have a good idea.

Wow....that's some seriously nice work, I especially like the scrimshaw.....reminds me a lot of the professionally made 18th century Scottish horns. :thumbsup:
