No guns this trip but I found this neat little book. It's from 1977. I have several CVA guns.

I attend a weekly local variety auction and recently found a beautiful, highly authentic Powder Horn that must have been made by a true craftsperson. Authentic and "aged" in every detail, (no scrimshaw or engraving!) it cost me about $20.! Has a screw-off tip to accommodate filling, staple & nails rusted, aged wooden base plug, etc. I was going to allow bidding up to $100 but was gob-smacked when it went for 20. (I also got there a Spanish Deringer copy, rifled, for $10 as they called it out as one of those cigarette lighter guns!) Resold for about 80. Love flea markets & auctions!:thumb:

I pick up old tool manuals and instructions - they are very interesting to read.

I picked up the same book at a flea market about a year ago for $4. Handy little reference book for the beginner and love the pictures.
