I got crafty and made myself a flint/tool pouch for my spare flints, ramrod acces., and cockjaw tool so their not rattling around my bag. Used a scrap piece of canvas and the tip of an antler tine for a button, then sewed it up like Frankenstein. Also, I wanted a charger/measure made from antler so I got busy on that. Nothing special here other than I used a circular file to give it a bit of a spout.

I've only been in to muzzleloading for a couple of years, but I've got to say making your own stuff is a very special part of it.

You're right....making your own "gadgets" is part of the enjoyment of our hobby. Scraps of leather or canvas, antler tips, etc can all be used for a needed accessory, and most are easy to make. Emery

 Both look great. I particularly like the pour spout on the measure. The pouch looks handy...you've given me an idea for a similar project.

Nice, maybe I should send ya some antlers to make me some measures.

You know, it wasn't as hard as I thought it might be. I don't think I put more than three hours of work in to it. It's a 40gr measure. My .36 shoots best with 40gr and I just have to pour twice in to my .58 for most occasions.
