I get my flints from the Track of the Wolf. They come from Tom Fuller in England or now from his successor. If you want to try French,German, or American flints, Jedediah STARR Trading Company has a variety.

There are direct links to French and German flints but I can't locate them at the moment.

Found it Horst & McCann

Black ... white ... black ... white ... darn it, I can't decide!

I just got some of Rich's white Missouri flints and some looked amazing and one was down right butt ugly. So, I 'tried' the ugliest first and she went off almost every time. I think they will be 'arm' dependant, as my Wilson has a VERY short hammer throw and I need my flint et al to be optimum.

I will say I just bought a dozen from Track (Tom Fuller black english) and they were UNREAL in unformity and geometry. My Wilson was 100% last SAT with them and I never knapped for 30+ shots, I just cleaned theflint andpan every 5 or so shots.

For the price, I believe Rich's flints are a superb value. I do believe that I need to spend more time with them and I would urge all posters to try them out! I'll try them some more and report back.
