Hi all. New here. I'm brand new to Black powder. I'm very interested in Pre Rev rifles. I also feel the need for a H/C fowler too. I feel like I just found another "expesive" hobby to add to the rest. I've googled costom flintlocks. What kind of fowler would you recommend?
Thanks

Keep an eye on the gun auction sites and trade blanket here. You could get a musket for a decent price though they are heavier than most fowlers

We all have our personal preferences for smoothies.

The best advice I can give, is look and learn (study) before you lock and load. (buy)

There are quite a few types of Fowlers and rifle out there, just be carefull and do some research most biulders/suppliers try to date their guns very early to grab the f&I group, quite often these early dates do not stand scrutiny.

Jim Chambers kits come highly reccommended by a lot of people
