I believe the Traditions Trapper pistol comes as a kit. Certainly the percussion version does and I assume the flint version does as well. Check Midsouth Shooters supply and Cabelas.

If you're looking for a more involved build, TVM offers both their Tennessee Pistol and "Matt's Pistol" as kits.

True but, these are far from the "kits" most folks think of when they see a kit for sale.

These are closer to a "box of parts".
Some of the parts are just raw sand castings and all of them need a lot of work before they can be put together.

I thoroughly enjoy building "kits" like these but I think folks need to understand what they are getting into before they lay their money down.
