I am looking for a flintlock pistol.
who sells them?
which styles are best?
any help would be great
Thanks

Look in the classifieds here and see if there is something that strikes your fancy. They pop up every now and then. Also take into consideration the quality of the lock and barrel.

Well you mite want to narrow down your question some....What are you going to do with it, Any particular type or style ? Colonial american, English, European ? Rifled, smooth, Target etc. ...Tom

Why is there a fishing lure tied to that pistol? Was it an early American SHTF/Survival gun!?

The waterproof matches are behind the neat swing away faux-ivory handle grips. I'll bet there's a compass in the bottom of the butt too

Sand filled hour-glass or GPS? :rotf:

Actually the butt of the English dueling pistol looks like it could be hollowed out and hold a lot of stuff.

That's the owner's "medicine." I have a similar contraction attached to the trigger guard of my TN mountain rifle. It's lucky, or supposed to be.

Ha-Ha, boys---it's called decoration and a handy vent pick. The grip panels are to fit my hand & are harvested elk antler. Steel butt cap to put big salmon to sleep. Just keep at me I can take it---mostly...Tom

You get a lot of salmon out in the Nevada Desert?

next you'll tell us you have sand sharks too.

Mostly we're just jealous and don't know how to say it!

To zimmerstutzen: If the tank at the casino ever breaks, there'll be real sharks all over that sand!

Uh huh. The only Elks you're seeing I'd guess are on The Strip in big red hats. And I recognize those plastic grip panels -- they are from a toy derringer and you just screwed them to the side of the pistol's stock.

Oh, and don't think we didn't notice the anodized aluminum trigger guard, thimbles, and nosecap.

"Apparently you've never spent much time in Las Vegas?"

No desire to. I live 90 miles from the District of Columbia. That alone is sufficient risk for a lifetime.

Plenty a salmon, just that there up in WA. OR. where I lived 35 yr. I think I mite a seen a big ol' sand shark just yesterday under a flat rock in the yard, or was I watching the Travel chn'l ??? :youcrazy: Lots of elk around LV, 1 hr north in the Charleston mt. 12,000' Tom
