At 6:30 on the drive to the range this morning, I come around a curve...the sunrise rays are coming from my right, there's a big beautiful green soybean field on my left, and standing out in the middle of it are a couple Does and a couple fawns...coats gleamimg beautiful bright red/brown in the sun's rays against that sea of green all around them...as beautiful a post card photo as any I've seen...life is good !

Nice! It is always good to see them...

I saw a great buck with 2 lesser bucks the other day, but in a residential area where no hunting is allowed. It was good to see them though....

yup the bucks here in my community are at full size almost....ya can tell how many points they will have now............bob

The other day, my oldest son went for a "trail walk" in a local wooded city park while his brother played baseball there. He jumped a fair sized bedded doe which "white flagged" away and he thought it was a potential mugger at first there in the bushes. It scared him too! Rather uncommon in this dense city of about 5,500 people per square mile. ::
