I made this horn (#63) for display at the recently ended CLA show and I am now offering it for sale. Its a lovely horn, medium size Right Side carry. It measures almost 10 1/2" from spout tip to the Honduran Mahogany base plug. The base is 2 1/2" x 2 1/4", and has a simple twist shaped staple.
The spout is round up to the double neck ring, and ends in a tapered octagon, with a fancy violin peg stopper.
There is some very finely carved designs on the body; some acanthus leaves in a diced border on the outward side, and a parquetry-style engraving on the opposite side. The spine is decorated with a common motif I like so much. I added some color to enhance the piece, matching he lovely tones of the Mahogany wood.
I am certain this horn will be a wonderful addition to any rig as well as a display horn. I am asking $420 for the horn, which will include shipping and insurance to your home or business.
