still messing with a spring for the pedrosoli liege pistol. I had an idea how about a couple of revolver springs? so on a hunch I ordered a couple from Dixie for a starr revolver. I have to say they involved the least amount of work and function perfect. Just my experience that i wanted to share.

The others that I made from Dixie spring metal were a lot of work. trial and error and lots of failure. But, in the end they worked. The starr springs are so close that it cut so much time off of forming a new one. !/3 of the time in making it from raw stock. But this is why we share experiences. It will save grief if someone else has a similar situation. That,s why we are here me think,s.....:)
