I'm not sure where to put this question, and a search turned up nothing.

I have five cap & ball revolvers that need the forcing cone smoothened out. I know there is a special tool/grinder that is used for this. I haven't seen one, so I'm not sure what I'm looking for. Does anybody know where I might find one?

Brownells has them. They work very well. One size fits almost all. Easy to use. Cost $45 or so.

Thanks Othern, I have a 2003 Brownell's cat. but still can't find the one I "think" I'm looking for. Any chance for a part number or something more specific.
I've done well making and shooting Kentucky pistols, but now, I'd like to tune-up and shoot well with my revolvers.

Brownell's has an online Cataloge and it is listed as previously stated under revolver chamfering kit. I see the prices have gone WAY up since I purchased mine. They are now $88.

Thanks guys, One more question. Could that kit also be used to recone a muzzle? Thanks again.
