Hi
I made my own from a hole cutting saw.
I bought a set and grund the teeth from the size I wanted for my .40cal rifles then sharpened a cutting edge onto it, hardened the cutting faces and it was all go.
I use it in the drill press and generally cut through 4 layers of patching at the time. I can cut about 200 patches before it requirs a touch up with the stone to restore the edge.
I did buy a Forster patch cutter but never really used it very much. I thought it to be somewhat slow and cumbersome. Cutting square patches with a scissors was faster. Also I much prefer using strips of patching and cutting at the muzzle, or if using loading blocks, I cut the strips of patching on top of the ball in the block.
