The Fort Frederick 18th Century Market Fair is one of the biggest reenacting/living history events of its kind in the eastern U.S.. Last week I was camping at the 2014 version of the event, and I'd like to share some of the goings on in this video.

This was the 20th annual Market Fair at Fort Fred, and the Friends of Fort Frederick went out of their way to make it memorable. In this video we’ll take brief looks at the campers, the vendors and the re-enactors who make the event so much fun.

Thanks for the great video! You do a fine job behind the camera. I was there on Sat and enjoyed myself immensely. A new powder horn followed me home!

and once again I camped just down from you! I was the fella with the giant horn on his shoulders!

I was hoping you'd put up a video of this year's fair. I've been a subscriber to your channel for quite awhile, and saw the video on last year's fair. Great channel.

I promised myself I'd go this year, but it turned out to be the same weekend as my wedding, so no dice. NEXT year though... I'm only a couple hours southeast from Ft. Frederick, so no excuses next time...

Here's a photo of me (left) and my camping partner Bill Johnson at this year's Fort Frederick 18th century Market Fair.
