Went in the woods behind the house this evening and had a nice gobbler walk past me about 50 yards out at 6:30. I stopped counting his gobbles at 20! He was by himself and fired up! I was fired up too after the encounter. Maybe it's his routine to enter the woods where he did to head toward his roost. In any case, I will be hunting closeby the afternoon of the 22nd if I strike out in the morning. Just had to share this....I cant wait!!! :thumbsup:
