Yes it is an inline......I know I cheated BUT...My flint lock was not finished until this Sunday and I had to hunt when saeson opened and all I had to go with was the Encore 209X50.

I have 2 doe tags for the rest of the season and have been shooting the flintlock a lot and it shoots great so I will be using that for the rest of the season.

Nice deer, but I've lived and hunted in Iowa for 47 years, and have not seen any mule deer. You are a good hunter! You should go to Wasington state and find Saquatch! Just kidding, I'll be going after whitetails in a week with my flintlock during the second shotgun season.
