been real desperate to find a new range as my usual range will not allow me to shoot my new musket.

well today i found one, the Issaquah sportsmen's club. this range really impressed me! they offer both 25 and 50 yards for pistols and 25, 50, and 100 yard lines for rifles. they had tons of benches and did regular cease fires. the range is outdoors with plenty of cover so you dont get wet while shooting. the prices are very reasonable at $12 for the day or $80 a year for a membership. the best part about the place is no range nazis! the range masters are polite, friendly, and seem to have a genuine interest in firearms. the range is very muzzleloader friendly, in fact every third sunday they reserve half the range for a local muzzleloading club (im looking to join this club).

the onley downsides i could find to the range are that the roof is a little low for my long range rod and its a bit of a drive (45 min) from my house. neither of which truly bother me so i will no doubt become of member at this range very soon.

if you live in western WA or ever come to visit and wanna shoot at a range. i highly recomend the Issaquah sportsmen's club.

Mat that sounds like a place to call home and well worth it .

Dig a hole to put the butt of your musket in, and the roof may be high enough after all!
