Visited this museum while we were vacationing in Louisville this week for spring break. While I wouldn't make a trip just to visit the museum, it would be well worth it if you were in the area. Extensive collection of early firearms.

Nice to see some actual period firearms.

A lot of folks are going to be in this area in June for the shoot at Friendship. This makes a great side trip.

A couple miles away is the Filson Historical Society and even further is the Speed Art Museum. Both have paintings of Daniel Boone. Check them out. BTW, across the street (and a block or so down) from the Frazier is the Louisville Slugger Museum. I went to the gift shop but I'm no fan of baseball.

The Frazier is indeed worth checking out and you'll see Geronimo's bow there as well as some mighty fine rifles of the BP era.
