Fremont Shotgun Info

I am working on a Fremont SxS breach loading shotgun. I need to know where I can get info on this shotgun. One of the hammers is broken. Shear is undercut so that on side will not fire. The barrel looks to be damascus steel. If anyone has any info please send it to me.

What is a breach loading shotgun? (cartridge type or Ferguson?).What is an undercut Shear? :hmm:
