The gold inlaid into the damascus is a nice touch. Especially around the front sight and muzzles.

very nice gun of it's type.Personally I just dislke that type. It's reminiscent of French Empire furniture and I dislike that stuff also.The workmanship is nice but that's the best I I can say about it.

All in all, I think I'd rather have a nice early English or New England fowler. Or maybe a fusil de chasse. But the workmanship is excellent.
