The rear sight is visible in 2 of the photos. I don't see a front one and I would guess it's missing. We need a photo of that area as well as the muzzle and bore. Not every fancy pistol without a ramrod was a dueling pistol, most weren't.

Going with the dueling pistol separated from its mate history. A target pistol should have some sights, which I don’t see. Pretty nice gun.
Last picture shows the rear sight and another show the dovetail for the missing front sight. Irelevant in any case as dueling pistols also had sights.

I saw the integral rear sight, but no front sight. I’m sure dueling pistols were made with and without sights. Some were made without sights so the parties had a more difficult time hitting one another, but were able to discharge their weapon and preserve their honor without physical harm. Anyhow, cool gun. The LePage seems to be it

Yes, it's a cool gun. 😍

I missed the front sight dovetail till denster mentioned it and I went back to look. It's visible in the photo of the pistol pointing to the left if you look close.

I don't think it's a parlor pistol. They were typically 4-6 mm made to use a small charge of powder indoors. You wouldn't want a .58 ball bouncing around your parlor. 😁 I'm going to lean towards it being a dueller. In my limited experience I think most European target pistols were around .35-.40 caliber with duellers being larger calibers. Very nice looking pistol in great shape.
