My recent move up here(The real New York)to Saratoga has inspired me to look into the nearly lost battle of Saratoga and the wonderful renactors whom bring life into the world changing event....Our first vicory!

I am very interested in the arms of the local milita, and wish to begin a journey of replcating and joining a renactor club here.

Welcome to the forum. It's great that you have the interest in the history of the area and can live and re-enact in the middle of it.

Welcome from Arizona. Is that pronounced S"kiler"ville or S"hiler"ville? Love that country up there. One of my fondest memories of upstate NY was Ausable Chasm. We toured it on a vacation trip up through Maine down to Quebec and then south through NY. It was BEAUTIFUL!
