FT 50 caliber Southern Mountain style Flintlock.
Iron furniture, L&R lock, 38" DGW barrel, Deer Creek double set triggers, adjustable rear sight.
Not sure who made the rifle, it came from Wyoming, but the workmanship is pretty darn good, inletting as well.
Barrel is held in with screws through the ramrod tubes so it's
very easy to take apart, and clean.
Nice rifle, that shoot's when you pull the trigger.
There is a small crack on the lock bolt side of the receiver, from overtightening.
I got the rifle that way, and it has never been an issue, so I just left it alone.
This would be a good project for a stock do-over, as the maple stock is well figured, it's just covered up by too dark of a stain. Just my 2 cent opinion. lol
I was told that this could be a Golden Age Arms rifle, they were made in the 70s.
Would be interested in trading for a custom made percussion Hawken/Plains style rifle.
PM for more pics, and info.
Would consider a cash sale, you make an offer, but I prefer to traaade.
Thanks
Jim
