Original poster here, sorry, failed to add comments to the photos. Bore around 7/8th inch, muzzle slightly flared. Damascus barrel octangular at breech, round continuing to muzzle. No other markings. Anything interesting or unusual here? Meaning of 'GASPARO', 'F' or '32'? Thank you, Don Weiler

Gasparo is, I believe, a name, possibly the maker or finisher of the barrel or maybe the entire gun? He would have been in the employ of or a contractor to Beretta.

"32" appears to be an assembly or "serial" number since it appears on both the barrel and the breach. Is "32" stamped inside the lock or anywhere else? The barrel channel of the stock maybe?

"Gasparo" is a famous last name in Italy, held by an important diplomat/Cardinal in the 1400's as well as a violin maker. (per Google search) Could be that here it's linked to an address or section within Gardone, which itself is nearby to Brescia, home of Beretta as we know it today. Just as well it could have been the name of the inpsector or arms maker as already noted.

Sorry it took so long to reply, I've just removed the lock. Only stamp inside lock plate is "LR" as attached. The lock maker? Any idea of the approximate value of this gun? Thank for looking, Don
