as Jethro said it was a very good time, plus we also had a very esteemed guest stop by on sunday. the forum's own Silex was in the neighborhood and dropped in for visit. if I would have known you were coming I would have saved you some coffee.

Silex had a last-minute trip scheduled to here from Germany and took time to drive out to Galesburg for a visit. Wish you could have camped the whole weekend Michael. It was good to see you again.

It's always good to see my closer-to-home rendezvous friends too. I also met another forum member, Tater, and made a couple of other new acquaintances while I was there.

The weather was pretty nice, a nice breeze most of the weekend. Not too hot, and just a bit of mist on Saturday. The competitions were fun and I did fairly well. Good entertainment, good food, good folks, good times. :thumbsup:

Yes, it was so good to see you again and make new friends in fellow forum members. It was absolutely worth the drive.
Hopefully, if I get the chance again, there will be a little time for planning and maybe staying over in camp.

Now, seeing the picture, I wish I had brought at least a shirt clout and leggings...
