This is a used (aren't they all) .54 Garrett Arms Model 1863 SRC. Finish shows some wear, but is probably a 90% gun. Barrel bluing shows muzzle wear. There are a couple of small nicks behind front sight, possibly from installing higher sight blade (?). Bore is very good. Tight action with hardened storage grease. The .54 bore is excellent. Stock would rate Good Plus, with a few minor bumps and bruises. Some should steam out. Has intact Lawrence Primer system. A scarce and sought-after carbine for NSSA members and other Civil War weapons enthusiasts. $1375 + Shipping.
