The Grand Encampment was held July 17-20, 2014 at the site of Cheeseman's Farm/Portersville Steam Show Grounds in Portersville, Pennsylvania (located very near Washington's Trail of 1753). This is also the site for the GE 2015 event. You can visit the home page at: http://www.grandencampment.org/index.html for info and viewing the photo gallery for a lot of fine photos. It was a great event and passionately attended by the public. It was so well received they were invited back. In addition to the scenarios planned, there were many ablibed scenario portrayals between the event participants throughout the days. Those caught the public attention enough that they hung around to visit the camps and asked, surprisingly, good questions.
