Getting closer

It's the first cool day since last spring, high of 65. The leaves haven't started to change yet but I feel a certain something in the air. Got my .32 and .36 ready. My Pappy used to tell me "boy, don't go wishing your life away", but I still wish that tree-rat season was tomorrow morning instead of next month. My SPIDEY SENCES are tingling real bad.

Ah, how well I remember those early fall mornings. Squirrel huntin was my favorite season. Not too hot and not too cool. Actually my best time of the year. Ancient One, where bouts you at in Pa. I grew up in E. Stbg and lived there til in my mid 30's...Bud

Hi Bud: I live in Easton but started out in Marshall, N.C. about 20 miles north of Ashville. An area known as Walnut Creek. Pappy turned rebel when I was about 3 years old.
