Getting ready for the Eastern

Well it is time to get those preregistrations sent in for the Eastern. I am sending mine in this week. I waited until I knew if Kari ( The Axeman ) could make it over the pond from Finland. For those of you who are not aware there are several hundred buckskinners in Europe. Kari and Roadrunner were over in 2010. So if you are interested in some nice looking hawks and throwing knives he usually has several . Stop by the camp for a cold drink of cider if you attend. I expect to have plenty again this year.

Yep, it is at Cooper's Lake. I'll be the school master. If you make it in a wheel chair I have some of my special "rotten apples" for you as well as cider. :idunno:

I was wondering who Kari was going to camp with. I won't be making it to the Eastern this year, so I will miss hanging out with Kari. Say Hi to him for me.

I'm preregistered and plan on being there early set up Wednesday. Look me up. I'll be the guy with the gray beard camped in a white canvas tent. I won't be selling anything or have a trade blanket so it should be easy to spot my camp. :/

My wife and I will be there on Friday till Sunday but we will be staying in camp hotel. Hope to meet some of you all.

"Ramrod's rotten apples" is what many buckskinners call my rehydrated apples. I dehydrate the apples from my orchard with a light coating of cinnamon and cloves and then when I am at rendezvous, I rehydrate them with rum! :idunno:

I just got ten gallons of grape cider made to go with last weeks apple cider. So we will be sure to have enough to drink.
