Gettysburg Remembrance Day

This Saturday November 19 is Gettysburg Remembrance Day. There is a reenactment of the Gettysburg address and a parade. I attended last year and it was very impressive. Reenactment units fron all over the US particapate in the parade both North and South. There seemed to be more people there in period dress both military and civilian than in modern dress.

I used to march in the parade years ago when I was in Archer's Brigade. It was a good opportunity to visit with comrades before the long off-season.
