Next month I plan a vacation trip down Interstate 15 through Utah to Las Vegas Nevada and then to Kingman Arizona. Are there any good muzzleloading shops that I might visit in those areas??? Thanks

Depends on what you are looking for. There is a Sportsmans Warehouse in Ogden, Salt Lake, and Provo. They have a good selction of black powder items. Also Cabela's in Lehi. I've heard of a store called Gunnie's (? spelling) in the Provo area. Also outside of Brigham City right off I-15 is Smith and Edwards. Army surplus with a large gun department. Oh in Vegas there is a Bass Pro shops out by the airport that is awesome!!!

The last bona fide ML shop I knew of in Vegas was Ray's Beaver Bag on Las Vegas Boulevard S. Unfortunately, with the BS regs on storing BP, I heard he has shut down.

Here is link if you want to check if he is still in business.

Yes, it is the most beautifully decorated shop for fishermen, hunters, and outdoor-afficionados but has muzzleloaderwise only inliners and a few cap and ball revolvers. But it's worth a visit anyway.

Tomorrow, I can provide the phone number of Will Lone Eagle of the Northwestern Trading Post. He is only present on gun-shows in the southwestern Utah/Nevada/Arizona area. But no real black powder! It's not allowed in gunshows here!
