G'day all from Australia ... I'm pretty active over at Gunboards as Heatseeker, and if you peruse my posts you'll see I'm an avid sniper's rifle and Lee Enfield man.

Well, I've just crossed to the dark side - after a decade of being on the lookout for a front stuffer, a Zoli "Zouave" .58 calibre rifle found me at the right price.

It comes with all the accessories (mainly set up for hunting), and no doubt I'll have a multitude of (mostly) silly questions.

And no doubt there'll also be a couple of otthers coming ... these things tend to happen to me in threes.

Anyway, good to be on-board!

Thanks for the welcome ... I've picked up my first smokepole and while it is in fact a Zoli, it appears it's not a "Zouave" but an 1841 Mississippi.

Will post some pics in the percussion forum.
