This rifle has it all. It is built in the Bedford County, PA style. It was built by a J. Nelson in 1975. Rifle Number 12. The stock is a heavily marbled Birdseye Maple with brass fittings and German Silver inlays. LOP is 13.25. Barrel is a 37" GR Douglas with very clean bore and 1:66 twist. The percussion lock and double set triggers were made by Russ Hamm. The builder put a note in patchbox with particulars, including loading info. A powder measure made of horn is included and holds 30 grains of FFG. Haven't seen many Bedford style rifles for sale. $1300 + Shipping.
