My trade gun in the white has arrived from North Star West,Matt said it would take 3 to 5 month's but I got it in 2/12.Matt was very good to deal with and I would not hesitate to deal with him again. Now I have my work cut out for me to finish it...rusty

You got one of the best when you bought North Star West. :imo: That Matt is a real nice guy, I've done a deal or two with him & alway been very happy about it! Did you go 24 ga.?

You are gonna love it. Take your time with it and it will look killer when done. When I took mine to the range for the first time last week, people stopped to ask me about it and look it over. This after it sat in a shop locally, used for who knows how long. It was covered in some kind of 'poly' finish and it was ugly, almost passed on it myself (and I own alot of guns, I don't pass on anything it seems :haha:). Had to refinish the wood, still not sure if I will leave the barrel grey or make it bright, I don't think it would look good brown. How do you plan on finishing the barrel? Would be curious to see it 'in the white' if possible.

Rusty... I have a jack garner .62 cal Traditional smoothbore in premium curly maple, with double set triggers. Would you know anyone who would like to trade me for this smoothbore. I am a French Fusil de Chasse man, but am looking for a 42 inch barrel flinter in anything from 54 cal up to 62. Herte is my email address.
