Took me all season long but I finally made meat yesterday. My .54 cal flintlock, that I have been using exclusively since day one, harvested a plump doe with just 2 days left of the season.

Seasons over for me RC. Regular season over so that tag is no good. Muzzleloader tag is filled with the doe. I'm all out of tags.

you can still use your regular tag to tag a anterless deer page 23 in your 2006-2007 hunting and trapping guide its in the VALID FOR section.Also if you got the super sportsmen you should have two tags for BOW/MZ one anterless and the other either sex.So it looks like you shouild be able to get out and make some more meat if you so desire....Pete
PS will be out this week with the new 62 cal smooth bore,Have a few does patterened at least one is destined for the frezzer :thumbsup:

britches, catlis is right,, cept ya can get a buck with yer reg season tag,during ml season,, actually, during late ml/bow season, you can fill all yer tags,and permit,..with either bow or ml..so i could get 1 buck and 2 doe or 3 doe,,(already used reg. season tag) course if i could like actually SEE a deer might be easier to fill a tag,,,it's unbelieveable here...it's makin me succumb to DHS.................(to those not familiar with the dreaded DHS, it's
"Depressed Hunter Syndrome" although not fatal,,ya sorta wish it was,,could last clear to next season....only cure is to actually see a deer while engaged in a hunting situation,,driveby sightings usually only add to DHS specially if said deer is on other side of orange sign....................) :shocked2:
