.54 Lyman GPR flint

Had to unload the GPR and took the Renegade along as it hasn't been shot in quite some time. The lowest hole is from the GPR offhand :doh:.

Looks good to me. I kind of like the gray metal, and have a couple that are "finished" like that. Gives them that used but taken care of look, instead of just something that got pulled out of a box last week.
 
Thanks, I'm happy with how it turned out. At first I wasn't so sure, but it has developed a nice color over the last several years.
 
Good looking rifles. Been wanting a .50 Renegade for my next ML. :thumbsup:
 
Have both of those rifles.
My GPR is a 50 cal. percussion. Keeps a 2 inch group at 75 yds.
The Renegade is a 54 CAL percussion. It will keep a 3 inch group at 75 yds.
Both are good quality rifles.
